until 17 August 2026, and BrightForge TCG before that. Same software, same
provider, same terms — only the name changed. If you installed it under an
earlier name, this document applies to your copy.
By installing or using OnTheStack ("the Software"), you agree to this Agreement.
If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence
to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own
non-commercial use.
You may not:
is prohibited by law in your jurisdiction;
data services it relies on.
The Software stores your collection, decks, wishlist and play history. **That
content belongs to you.** This licence gives us no ownership of it.
If you enable cloud sync, you grant us only the narrow permission needed to
store and transmit that content so your own devices can share it. Nothing more:
we do not analyse it, mine it, sell it, or use it to train anything.
How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms
part of this Agreement.
An account is optional and only required for cloud sync. You are responsible for
keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may
delete your account from within the Software at any time.
The Software lets you add friends and send them direct messages. Using that
feature means agreeing to the Community Guidelines, which form part of this
Agreement.
In short: no harassment, no sexual content, nothing involving minors, no hate
speech, no scams, no spam, no impersonation. We may suspend or terminate an
account that breaks those rules, immediately and without notice where the breach
is serious.
You are responsible for what you send. Messages are private between you and
the recipient, but they are stored on our servers so they can be delivered, and
they are not end-to-end encrypted. We do not read them routinely; we will
read reported messages in order to act on a report.
**Trades and games arranged through the Software are between you and the other
person.** We do not process payments, hold anything in escrow, verify anyone, or
guarantee that a trade completes. We are not a party to it and cannot recover
your money or your cards if it goes wrong.
Every conversation offers Block and Report. Use them; that is what they
are for.
The Software displays card information, images and prices obtained from
third-party services including Scryfall, Lorcast, YGOPRODeck, the Pokémon TCG
data set, TCGCsv and Commander Spellbook. That data is provided by those
services under their own terms, and their availability and accuracy are outside
our control.
Prices are indicative only. They are cached snapshots of third-party market
data, may be stale, and are not an offer, an appraisal, or advice. Do not rely
on them for a purchase, a sale, an insurance valuation, or a trade. Any decision
you make with money is yours.
Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! and their card
names, images and symbols are the property of their respective owners. **This
Software is unofficial and is not produced, endorsed, supported or affiliated
with any of them.** It is a tool for organising cards you already own.
The desktop version may check for and install updates. Updates are covered by
this Agreement. The mobile version updates through the relevant app store.
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and
non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free,
or that any data it displays is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect,
incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data,
or losses arising from a trade, purchase or sale you made.
Back up your data. The Software provides an export and backup function.
Device loss, disk failure and uninstallation destroy local data, and we cannot
recover it for you.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for
death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
This licence ends if you breach it, or when you uninstall the Software. Sections
3, 5, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States,
without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update this Agreement. Continued use after a material change constitutes
acceptance. Significant changes will be noted in the release notes.
